Rock crystal is essentially is made out of quartz and Silicon Dioxide. This crystal is mostly used for decoration and as gemstone. Even though this crystal is common it still works as a pretty decoration or Gemstone and for a present! Rock crystal is named for the clear colorless quartz in it. Rock Crystal is an alternate and traditional birthstone for April. Most people like Rock Crystals when they are not cut into different shapes. They like them just how they come. Some of the best places to find this rock is in Hot Springs area in Arkansas, USA, and Cumberland in England. Large deposits of the Rock Crystal are found in Brazil. The largest Crystal that was weighed at 44 tons!

Rock Crystals have 7 different varieties:

Amethyst, citrine, milky quartz, prasiolite, rose quartz, and smoky quartz. I will tell you a little bit of these 7 quartz.

There colors are:

·         Amethyst: Purple

·         Citrine: Yellow to Orange

·         Milky quartz: Cloudy white               

·         Prasiolite: Leek green

·         Rose quartz: Reddish to pink           

·         Smoky quartz: Brown to gray
